Test

Wow, folks, it's been AGES since I've written.  I am sure many of you loyal readers have tried to contact me through my contact page, and I'll apologize in advance for not having answered, because, well, you know that point when you hit a wall and your brain just sort of goes 'splat?'  (Well, mine does, anyway...perhaps yours is more of a 'pbbbfart' sound... my husband's is a 'poof' I think...)

At any rate, I'm sure you can understand where I'm coming from.  I've loved writing and reading all of your comments and keeping up with all my friends, and then one day out of nowhere the whole thing got to be too overwhelming.

I logged into my Blogger email account to find 5,281 new messages and my brain just sort of blew a fuse (which is bad, by the way, because I have precious few fuses to work with in the first place).

So I've been meaning to get back "in the saddle," so to speak...but the longer I waited, the weirder it got to start again.  For example, what does one say when one hasn't written in nearly a year?  "Um, I've just been busy" seems a bit lame.  So I knew that when I officially began writing again after nearly a year's hiatus, it would have to be EPIC.  Well, either epic, or....completely random.

I decided to go with 'completely random.'

And as I logged into my Blogger account today for the first time in several months, I was hit smack in the head with the perfect topic.  There, in my comment inbox, sat thirteen of the most inane, ridiculous ramblings I'd ever seen (well, unless you've watched the interviews with Charlie Sheen...I'm not sure anything trumps those.  And just in case you're not sure what I'm talking about, watch this little mashup below and you'll not only know what I'm referring to, but you'll find out what sound your brain makes when it blows a fuse!)

So, dear readers, in the interest of (WINNING!!)...erm, I mean, getting back on the horse and getting my funny on again, I would like to share--word for word--some of the comments I have received on my blog since I last logged into Blogger a couple of months ago.  I was rather surprised to find 13 of them, considering I haven't written in nearly a year.  What could all these new comments possibly be about?

Well, here you go.  I hope you find them as amusing as I do.

Comment 1: "It's really a cool and helpful piece of info. I am glad that you shared this helpful info with us. Please keep us up to date like this. Thank you for sharing. My website - vexxhost ratings" on Evan's bizarre art!

(For the record, the post he commented on was one of the first entries I ever wrote, and it wasn't even funny...it was written back when I thought this was just going to be a "just for my family" blog. I'd be happy to keep him "up to date" like he requested, but I humbly ask that he get his flux capacitor checked first, as he is apparently stuck in 2010).

Comment 2: "I am extremely inspired along with your writing skills as neatly as with the structure to your weblog. Is that this a paid theme or did you modify it your self? Either way keep up the excellent quality writing, it is uncommon to look a nice blog like this one these days.. Visit my blog post - http://Extremefucking.org/" on Fight or Flight ... to Paris!!

(I had to admit, this guy actually had me believing he might actually be genuine...until he told me to go visit his website, which, as you can see, completely debunks his credibility.  However, I must admit I AM a tad curious about what "Extreme F***ing" is.  I wonder if it looks anything like extreme skydiving...except with no clothes and different, um, formations?  It certainly would give more of an interesting visual to the term 'blowing in the wind'....)
